Bringing Guernsey to Monaco!

Monaco may well be one of the most beautiful destinations in the world but in our not-so-humble opinion there is a more beautiful one and that's Guernsey! When our team are exhibiting the Bachmann Group suite of yachting services at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) in just a week's time, one thing that they will definitely be showcasing is the Guernsey Yacht Agency arm of our operations. 

Though today Bachmann Group is known for providing marine services on the international stage, we have certainly not forgotten our roots. Our company was established in 1974, when we began assisting visiting yachts to the Channel Islands. Starting with our beloved Guernsey, we soon extended the service to encompass the other islands that surround us: Alderney, Jersey, Sark and Herm.   

We continue to deliver this service though today it has been vastly improved and we offer everything that a visiting yacht and its crew could ever need or want. Located just a short and easy stroll from St Peter Port Harbour, our headquarters are home to more than 40 staff members, each of whom is dedicated to taking care of yacht owners, crews and guests. 

As a Crown Dependency and thus entirely independent of the UK and the EU, Guernsey is an absolute haven for visiting yachts. There is no duty to pay on marine fuel; indeed there is no VAT or any other government service taxes whatsoever. Our customs service is one of the most helpful, discreet and understanding on the planet. 

Located a mere 20 miles off the coast of France, our superb location is but a stone's throw from the primary shipping lines that cross the English Channel. In addition, our wonderful island boasts some of the best and most reliable transport links with daily flights to the UK's major airports and daily ferries to both France and the UK. As well as making your onward journey a smooth, stress-free affair, these exceptional transport links allows for rapid and ultra-efficient crew changes where necessary.
